Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003 -- 9:16 pm There's an entry from early today right before this one. Don't forget to read that one too. Click here to read it. In the last week or so, the boys have made some progress - Julius more so than Antonio. Julius now has 22 words or phrases and is starting to interact with people more. His words are: 1. JoJo 2. Antonio 3. Rachel 4. Nana 5. Mama 6. Gizmo (Antonio's nickname) 7. buh-bye 8. more 9. eat 10. down 11. thank you 12. done 13. yay 14. no 15. doggy 16. uh oh 17. peekaboo 18. baba 19. wanna eat 20. daddy 21. Tony 22. whee He's also blowing kisses and asks to be picked up now. He gives hugs and is now playing with us. He's getting very photogenic. He loves the camera and will actually stand still and smile when he sees one. He also tells us when he wants to eat by going over to the high chair and saying "wanna eat." He sings Old McDonald and the ABC song. He plays peekaboo and a hand game with me. He's also clapping now too. He also learned how to adjust the volume on my stereo. Antonio has learned to climb on my couch and how to turn the pages in a book. He also said his first 2 words in over a year on his birthday. He said "mama" and "Nana." That was the best present I could have ever gotten. He is also trying to dance now and has figured out how to turn on a videotape. They are making so much progress now. It's amazing! I can't wait to see what happens once they start their ABA therapy.
